Hi all!!!!!.... I'm just West of BR.
They sent me over here from survivalistboards.com

Been on here for a week or two trying to learn, get ideas before I jumped in.
Almost finished my 8x8 coop(needs trim work) and starting on 10x20 run soon. Me and my son just went to the feed store monday and picked up 2RSLs and 2 Buff Orphs. They have some more breeds coming in Fri. and hope they have some Leghorns or white egg layers come in(need about 4 more but, I'v seen how crazy you chicken people get and, I'll probably end up with 20 I'm sticking with hens due to the fact that I work nights, would probably choke a rooster for waking me up

I'm a Nurse by night now, Have been a ranch raised, General contractor before this clean work.

Glad to have another Louisianian on here, in case you havn't found it yet there are other LA folk on here under the "Where am I? Where are You?" forum. Just look for LA. At least I think that's the title, now that I'm not looking at it I'm not sure.

Oh well, age catches us all.
