Hi everyone,
I am very new to the chicken thing. Right now I have 4 boys at home plus a number of small pets (guinea pig, rabbits, hamster, toads, fish, flying squirrels). I so much want to get some guinea hen (mostly to take care of the tick problem we have), but thought it would be so cool to hatch them. Don't know where to get them and how to go about it, so that's why I am here. More in other threads.
Glad to be here.

first buy an incubator then post here that your looking for fertile eggs if noone has any (somebody will) look up hatcheries or post on craigslist and post under farming wanted eggs. or ebay sells too but local is better. good luck

We will have guinea fowl hatching eggs this spring, when they start laying again.
We have the standard pearl color, buff dundotte, royal purple and white.

The Royal Purple has started laying.

Hi all. I am from Oklahoma and have been visiting this site for a while. I finally decided to join the forum. Hope to find lots of information here. I have raised bantam cochins, frizzle cochins, and silkies for about a year. I have raised cochins in the past, but now want a variety. I am looking to order some polish in spring and am very much looking forward to that.
