I wonder if they used Crested Cream Legbars to make the Olive Eggers. That’s not the right way to word it but that would explain the crest. Very nice of them to refund you though!

That is what I was actually wanting to determine: what did they mix with BCM to get their Olive Eggers. I see they once sold "Lavender Americauna" but those don't have a a crest.

The only Crested bird that lays blue eggs (which is needed to make an olive egger) is a CCL.

It's possible it"s not an Olive Egger at all. If they have Silkies or something mixed in, that could result in a crest.
