Hi,
I'm Christine and my first experience with chickens was growing up. My family had sex-links for eggs, ducks for pets, and meat chickens. It's been years since I had chickens/ducks so I'm a little rusty. Re-learning as I go! I have 9 eight week old Barred Rocks (I discovered one is a rooster!) and 11 4 week old Ducklings-Cayuga, Blue Swedish, and Buff. I am really enjoying them. Except for teaching the ducklings to go in before dark! They aren't getting it so I have been chasing and catching ducklings every night! I have one chicken right now with a swollen shut eye that I posted about on the forum. Other than that everyone seems healthy and happy! My husband built me an awesome chicken/duck coop that is 6x8 feet. He is very handy! I am looking forward to talking and making friends on here! Thanks! Christine
