We have bought 6 chickens from our local Tractor Supply Store. I cant believe how fast they grow and how friendly they can be. When they are running about and I sit on the floor they want to come sit with me, or I should say on me. They they bicker over which one is going to get all the attention. Its a new adventure but it seems like it is going to be fun.
Congrats on the new babies! And they sound adorable. You will have lap babies in no time. My girls were like that when they were little and still they beg to sit on my lap and fight who gets to sit closest to mommy. They are 3 years old and I still have a hard time sitting anywhere without chickens wanting on my lap! So keep working with them and they will stalk you for the rest of your days!
