I came here to look at plans for a coop and have been truely inspired by some of the members efforts! Im hoping to get 3 ex battery rescue hens soon so if anyone has any advice or tips regarding rescue hens please feel free...

I took in a few ex-batts a few years ago. They do need slightly different treatment from other chickens depending on what kind of state they are in. Extra protein, vits etc. And don't expect them to lay in the nestboxes straight away, you will find eggs all over the place for a while. It's very rewarding though, I wish you luck!
