I am the proud owner of 10 New Hampshire Reds and got my very first egg yesterday !!
Since I raised these girls from day one I was very excited to say the least.

I also have a fainting goat.
She is about 5 months old and her name is Haley.

I had relied on your site for all of my info needed to get my girls started on the right path since this is my first encounter with chickens. Everything has turned out very well for them.

I saw a lady at our county fair the other day with a backyard chicken t-shirt on and wanted to talk with her but by the time I got threw the crowd I could not find her, but was excited that this site has the exposure.

Thanks everyone. I am glad that I joined. Had been reading and studying posts on here for sometime. Don't know why I didn't join before now. And there was 2 more eggs this evening !! The ship is sailing,,lol
