Hello everyone, I’m new! My name is Jessica and I’m in Bowie Maryland. I’m a student at the University of Maryland studying biology (neurophysiology) and bioengineering. I’ve been into animals/wildlife/nature since I could stumbled out the back door, and have kept, bred, rescued (etc.) all kinds of birds. I’ve had a couple of chickens along the way too (which I really enjoyed), but favor the ole H2O fowl (mainly geese). Kept wild and domestic for about 14 years, but I hadn’t had any in two years up until recently. I got rid of all my birds when I moved here to Bowie (two years ago), and am now finally going to build the pen so I can have the birds back in my life. Currently I only have a Canada gosling I rescued (two weeks ago), but I’m looking for African or Brown Chinese goslings to add as pets.
I probably won’t be able to post much when I’m in school, but I look forward to learning more about you all and your experiences!
