Hello all. I am brand new to keeping chickens. Actually haven't kept one yet. My daughter and I have been studying for 2 weeks now and feel we are ready to start building our coop. She is bouncing off the walls with excitement and I must say I am into it as well. I anticipate asking a million questions. Everyone here seems real helpful. I guess I'll talk to y'all later.

Hello Arthur and welcome! That's really a nice thing for a father/daughter team to do........what nice memories you two will have to share. My son, who is 16 just loves helping me with the chickens! Imagine that, my teenager likes to hang out with his mom! LOL I think he just finds it really interesting and fun. It's a good way to do something together with your kids. Let us know about your progress!
