I joined this site several years ago when I first started keeping chickens. Fast forward to COVID, a career change, and now an empty nester; I'm back! I love having my own source of beautiful brown layers. The chickens are a source of food, company, and garden fertilizer. However, I've been struggling to keep feral critters out of my coop. I'm here to learn, share, and network with like-minded people who understand that homegrown is the heart of healthy living.
