We will be moving within the next few weeks from Miami to Asheville and are very excited that we'll finally be able to have some chickens (might be ours or we might just stick with the ones the owner of the house has at least initially). Our three year old daughter is very excited about this as well! We've been getting more and more interested in having chickens but it's really tough in Miami and we didn't even think it would work out in Asheville because we'd be renting - but woohoo it is all working out! I'm sitting her with a copy of Murray McMurray Hatchery catalog on my desk as I write.

So hello from the psuedo tropics soon to be the mountains!

Hi my name is Kristian and I live in Miami and have a farm in the Redlands were I keep most of my chickens. Well this is sad new for me becouse im not going to have anyone that lives close enough to me to be able to talk chicken talk and possible trade and have some friend that live around this area. Well good luck in your new home!
