Lost track of how many years we have had chickens, lol. Off and on for about 40 years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Lost track of that too! I know we have 22 chicks...maybe 10 or more roosters...lots of hens...and 3 ducks!
(3) What breeds do you have?
Golden Sebright Bantams, Silkies, Buff Orpington, Rhode Island Red, Old English Sport Bantam, Black Sex Link, Olive Eggers, Araucana, Barred Rock, a few mixed breed.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Funny, friendly birds and fresh eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
We garden for our own use, and sell extra eggs at Farm Markets.
