Ducklings are so cute...enjoy!

Hi there,

I just had 6 buff ducklings delivered and I’m totally new to waterfowl and poultry. I’ve done as much reading and research as I could but these littles were hatched two months earlier than I was expecting. Our girls are going to be pets and egg layers.

These 6 girls are adding to our family of two children and two dogs.

Our family recently moved to the country and we are loving every bit of it.

Welcome to BYC fellow Michigander! I’ve also got ducks… a lot of them! They are addicting! Yes make sure they have a deep but not too deep waterer so they can dunk their whole beak up to their nostrils so they can blow out any debris in there. They make a sneezing and head jerking movement usually when they clean their nostrils out. I see it almost 24/7 since I’ve got 12 full sized ducks now if you have any questions about your birds, feel free to ask away. Enjoy
