I am brand new to the world of chickens and loving every moment so far. I bought my first 4 chicks from a teenage boy who lives down the road a bit from us. They are a little over a week old I think and seem to be doing well. I am nervous though after reading some scary stuff about the care and well being of baby chicks. Hopefully this new relationship with you guys will help with that and ease the nerves.
I am a mother of one teenager (the light of my life), 3 mini-dachshunds (my babies), 1 lab mix (my son's constant companion), the wife to a wonderful and supportive husband and now the proud owner of 4 baby chicks......and I am sure that number will grow.
