Hello From Michigan!!

Hello every one I am new to BYC (hence my posting here)

I have 13 hens and a duck who are all braving their first Winter alive and in Michigan. I had a rooster but he fell victim to the neighbor's mean Pit Bull

I am getting into the Meat bird side of things this year so any suggestions you have about meat birds let me know!

from Ohio. So glad you joined. Raising your own meat birds are truely wonderful tasting. My advice is don't raise them with your other birds. They grow fast and smell a lot worse but it only takes about 8 wks and you are done. Good luck, they are worth it.
