I am soo excited to have found this site. I have finally convinced my DH that we must have our own hens and eggs. We have been involved in mushrrom hunting and wild foraging for several years and with a couple of acres we can have some chickens for eggs. We (I) have been planning the coop and run all winter and we have started gathering materials. My dear Dad has decided to help to build it. Yee Hah?! Still deciding on what breeds ect. but look forward to all the good help and humor that I have seen so far. We love all animals and spend alot of time in the woods mushroom hunting and foraging with our dogs Nigel and Hazel. Glad to meet you all!!!
