Hello, my names Cheyenne. I have never actually owned chickens but cant wait to get them! I ordered 5 Delaware pullets and 5 belgian D'anvers from cackle hatchery
. Also ordered some Welsh Harlequin and Black Swedish ducks from metzers. I cant wait for them to arrive!! Spent the last few months building a barn and coops and everything else, along with getting 2 new goats.
Alot of my friends and family own chickens wich made me intersted so i got into 4H so i could learn more about poultry in general. This website has definately helped alot, especialy with the coop design, also when it came to picking breeds, at first i had know clue what i should get!
I do know quite alot about poultry, i have done alot of research and i am in 4H. I also have 9 holland lop rabbits that i show, i have shown them for 6 years in 4H and i have 4 nigerian dwarf goats. I love them all so much. some of my other hobbies include photography, barrel racing/horse riding, and playing guitar and ukulele, i am also very interested in animal sciences.
