I've been lurking on this site on and off for a few months now. I finally decided to take the plunge and join.
I live in lower Michigan and have had ducks for a year. I am thinking about adding to my flock as well as getting a few broiler chickens. I don't know any one else with ducks and discovered Storey's Guide and Google can't cut it for everything.
I currently have two Pekin hens and two Muscovy hens. I got them three at a time and several months apart. Each set had a drake but they have since become dinner since I'm not interested in breeding either. I would like to get into Silver Appleyards.
