Hi All,

I just joined and have been raising a small flock for almost 7 months. I have two black Australorps, two white leghorns, and two (what I think are) RIR's. I have learned a lot from BYC and hope to become more educated and get more chickens in the future.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. You have some really good layers. Black Australorps are my favorite standard breed; extremely hardy, calm and gentle (my children, and now my granddaughter, made lap pets of ours), and excellent layers of large brown eggs. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting more chickens. Just beware of "chicken math." Very few BYC members are immune to it. :eek:)
