Hello from mid-Michigan!

Used to be on BYC few years ago and everyone was always helpful. I currently have 12 hens (all different breeds), a RIR rooster (Elvis), and a Morgan mare. Grew up in the city, but I'm loving the country life!

Welcome to BYC. I too am from central Michigan. I also love the country life. I'd rather see trees than buildings. I have 3 hens and one rooster. (fred) plus I picked up 4 more chicks yesterday. My wife says I pay more attention to the chickens more than I do her. (with a smile on her face) She loves them too.
