Hey everyone! I decided to finally take the leap and join since I've been on the BYC almost every day since we got our very first chicks 5 weeks ago.
Thanks for all of the valuable information about chicks! Maybe when I'm a little more chick-wise, I'll be able to help out, too.
It's great to know that I'm not the only person craaaazzzyyy about chickens!! Who woulda thought?
Oops - I meant to say, I have: 2 RIR, 2 barred rocks, 2 Ameraucanas, 1 buff orpington and 1 red (or maybe gold) star sex link (not sure if I said that right) - all 5 weeks old and all egg layers (except maybe the large barred rock, which I think is a rooster, but quite the gentleman).....AND 9 slow roaster chicks which I refuse to name since we'll eventually be eating them!! (I'll be out with the kids at a movie while my hubby "prepares" them.)
