Hello from Milliken, Colorado

HI and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

I also live in Milliken. We'll have to connect. My wife and I are wanting to get into chickens but we are trying to do a lot of research and studying before we get started. Limited space as you may well know. 1/5 acre. I think I have a coop design nailed down. Just need to decide on range and feed and the mechanics of raising hens for eggs.

The Learning Center is a great place to research all sorts of poultry topics. If you have questions, always feel free to ask. There are a lot of helpful and friendly members here.

Thanks for joining us!

Derek, it would be better if you started a new thread here - the one you piggy backed on is from 2012, so many people may be ignoring it. Then you will get full attention from present day responders. Welcome to Backyard chickens.
