Hello from Minnesota!

I live outside a tiny town called LeRoy. A couple years ago my FFA advisor had us starting our SAE's. Seeing as how i've always wanted chickens, I thought this would be a great time to finally convince my parents

My dad finally backed me in the fight (he's a softie

) and i was off to pick out my very first flock!!! Most exciting day of my life. My love for chickens has only grown in these couple of years (my dad is a converted chicken lover as well) and i now own 2 BO's, 4 aussies, 4 BR's, a cochin, ameraucana, 2 red stars, a brahma, a couple of cute mutts, and i just got 2 frizzled cochins and the friendliest little mutt at a pet swap. Oh, and i just hatched out 5 babies with more coming!! Needless to say, i'm obsessed. Unfortunately, my friends at school don't quite share my extreme enthusiasm for chickens so I am so glad I found this website!

I have 8 assorted chickens and 6 call ducks.
