Hi there! We are brand new to owning chickens but I have been a chicken-owner-wannabe for quite some time. We have some local support from other chicken owners, but I am looking forward to expanding our mentors through this site. We have a limit in our town of 4 hens. We currently have four 11 week old easter egger chicks and are getting anxious to confirm gender so that we can obtain however many new chicks we need to have our max. This time we will buy pre-sexed pullets to at least better our odds of keeping them.
Looking forward to having so many new friends to share in our adventure!
