Hello from Miramar Florida and thank you for including me.

Good morning all and thank you again for the welcome last year (stated embarrassingly due to my lack of response).

So update from last year. My 3 'babies' from last year are all grown now. I attached a picture of the family from December. The 2 females have moved away somewhere since I no longer see them, but the male - named Little Gray - has stuck around :). He's the one on the right in the photo.

This year, my original mamma duck came back around with another brood of 8 ducklings. I haven't seen her or her ducklings for many weeks, so I fear the local wildlife likely killed off her babies and she's gone back to her regular habitat.

Another female has 3 baby ducklings left from her original brood of 9 and they visit daily for seed and to run around my yard, chasing insects. It's hilarious to watch.

I was also blessed to see some baby Egyptian Geese one day in our back lake, but since I've not seen them since, I suspect the ducklings were also killed off and the parents flew away.

Anyway, I just wanted to say Hello again. Have a great day!

So pretty! Thank you so much for the update!

Gosh, nature is beautiful but it can be so cruel too sometimes. That's awesome, you've got them coming back though! ❤️
