Hello! I am Clypto and I wanted to greet the forums under the new member section.

I currently have 8 chickens - 2 barred rock pullets, 2 Australorp pullets, 2 Orpington pullets, and 2 Rhode Island reds - straight runs. I am currently starting my first 24 hours with these guys. I investigated a bit prior to starting with chickens, however, I will not claim to be a master at the craft of chicken raising.

Going to be doing a bit of digging, any questions that I cannot find answers too I will more then likely post in this thread. Again, greetings and enjoy your day.

I don't know how to do links but, you may like to visit The Learning Center, and "Raising Backyard Chickens," and visit "where am I, where are you." so you can post on your state thread. This would give you local information which may be of great benefit - especially for climate in regards to what type of coop is best.
