Hello, I'm Barb from Kansas City, Missouri. I use to be a member here back in the day. I actually helped research and add the State ordinances for keeping chickens to this site years ago..even received a gift, a yellow BYC mug as a thank you, which I thought was so sweet!
I'm starting chicken keeping once again. Bought organic roam free brown eggs from Walmart in my Brinsea - I bought 2 different brands of eggs, out of 7 eggs only 1 developed and I can see movement, not sure it will survive because it seems small to be on day 16, I had it in another no name brand incubator where the temperature fluctuated way too much which is why I ended up getting the Brinsea..I just candled yesterday and it's still moving around so hoping it survives.. in the mean time I have 3 chicks coming from My Pet Chicken in May, so we're looking forward to getting their fuzzy butts home.
Anyway, it's nice to be here and looking forward to reading posts and refreshing my memory on keeping chickens again.
