On day 23 now I have two chicks still (albeit one is probably not going to make it, as it can’t open it’s beak and eat...) I have two eggs still in the incubator and I am starting to think that they might not hatch...

How did the hatch go? Any more chicks? And how's the one you were worried might not make it?

No the other eggs did not hatch. The chick that has a beak that won’t open was on the verge of starvation and I decided to try again to help it open it’s beak. I managed to get it open 2mm and then mixed some crumb with water and syringe fed it. I did that twice yesterday and she was loving it. I plan on continuing to do this with the aim to opening her beak a little more each time until she can open it and feed herself.
