Hello from Mt. Airy NC

I am new to BYC and I am in the process of starting my first flock of chickens. I have a barn behind my house that I am converting into a coop. Does anybody have any advise to make my start up easier?

I would suggest visiting the learning center - there are lots of helpful articles on raising baby chicks and managing your own flock.

You can consider posting your plans on the barn conversion to the coop/run forums for input on specifics.
