Just joined - have had chickens since January. Took a while to get the Nashville / Davidson County ordinance passed, but we did it, and here we are! I have one mixed breed (Silkie and ?) rescue chicken who gives us about 5 pale pink eggs a week. I have two 5-month-old (supposed to be Ameracauna) hens who should begin laying any time. I have three 2.5-month-old (supposed to be Ameraucana) pullets. Love watching the chickens, enjoy being part of Urban Chicken Advocates of Nashville, and have learned an amazing amount about these cool birds in the last 6 months.
