Hey all! Used to be on this group years and years ago and knew I'd come back to it when I was ready! Time hasn't changed it much it seems and that's great to see! Focusing on bantam birds mainly for enjoyment of the friendly little feathered friends. Cochins, and polish mainly with some bantam mixes I'm raising up at the moment and hopefully some silkies and show girls in my future as well! Husband and I may be coming into a large commercial (4 acre lot of commercial chicken buildings) chicken operation that used to be for raising up laying hens....if all goes well I am seriously considering becoming a commercial hatchery of breeds I am interested in bettering/working with. A lot of work I know! But I'm ready for it and have a lot to learn in the mean time 
I figure this group will help get my eggs in order so to speak! We at the moment live on an almost 4 acre farm, got my free ranging barnyard flock and my birds I keep in pens and let out supervised because they're little and not fast or agile like the barnyard crew. Also have a few piggies, dogs, cats, parrots. Thank you for such a wonderful informative and friendly group!
