Hello from NC!

Hello! I'm John, and I live in the Raleigh area and have 3 baby chicks at home that are 1 week old. I am a total newbie, but have been researching for months, and am finally ready to get my backyard flock started!

I live in a residential neighborhood on a half acre, so my girls should have plenty of space to free-range in the fenced back yard during the day. I also live outside city limits and have no HOA, so no hoops to jump through to own chickens!

I just picked up my coop today, and I am so excited for this journey. I'm also really glad I found this forum and all the great information it has to offer!
