Good evening,
My name is Tom Dooley (yes just like he song, I was named after it). We (my Fiance and I) just bought a small place just west of Jacksonville Fl and are trying to make as self sufficient as possible. we have a small flock of chickens (Americana and buff Brahmas) they are for our eggs. We just recently received 100 meat birds bitties from cackle hatchery (Highly recommend them, awesome experience doing business with them). They sent me sent me a variety of large breed chickens and I am trying to identify what breeds they may be.
I grew up in the Ozarks in SW Missouri on a small farm where we had goats, rabbits, chickens, pigeons, quail, and dogs which we ate everything but the dogs.
