Hello from NEPA

My family and I discovered the joy of owning chickens, and the heartbreak as well. We have lost 3 silkie hens and are left with the rooster from predators. We are presently also the proud parents of 6 baby golden comets. I hope to learn more from everyone here and welcome any suggestions and stories you have to share.

. Sorry to hear of the loss of your silkies. Losing them is hard, you get attached so fast. I just got a Blue Silkie yesterday, hoping it is a pullet. I have 3 White Silkies not sure of sex yet and a Black cockerel. Plus my other chicks. Love them all. Hope you enjoy your chicks as much as I do.

P.S. I have Golden Comets also, they are nice.
