Howdy all, just joined today. The wife and I. Found this site because of a nasty news article bad mouthing backyard chicken coops. Since the wife and I have had chickens for a few years now, this article caught my attention. Needless to say, we love our birds. Just not so fond of the neighbors 30 plus cats...that's another story for a different day.

Just wanted to say Hi to all you nice folks and to say thanks for all the great advise I've been learning here. The wife and I have seventeen birds as of now. They are #1. Brown Red Ameraucana #2. Buff Orpington #3. straight run reds #4. Silver Laced Wyandotte and #5. Black Sex Link .
