I'm new to chickens but we got ducks last year. The duck house is my avatar photo. We have six ducks right now, 3 Khaki Campbell and 3 Welsh Harlequins.
I've been reading all kinds of stuff at BYC for a while thanks to the ducks. Now that we're interested in getting chickens I thought I'd create a login and introduce myself.
Other hobbies include medieval recreation, reading, cooking, and quilting.
Our family is made up of myself, my husband, and one 3 year-old girl.
