Hello from New Hampshire and Massachusetts

Hello Everyone!

I recently moved to NH and my sister-in-law, who raises chickens in MA, suggested your website. I am a teacher, and I am working to develop a home program for a student in Chelmsford, MA. We would like to hatch some chickens this Spring, but would need to place them in permanent homes eventually, because the student will be unable to care for them long term. (Due to several physical and medical disabilities.)

Does anyone have suggestions?? I have hatched eggs once before, in my classroom. However, I had the benefit of the kind assistance of a colleague who is a teacher and a farmer.

Any help or assistance would be much appreciated!

You might check on the NH thread, there may be someone near you that can"loan"the eggs to you for hatching, and take the chicks bach once hatched.
