Hello from New Hampshire

Hi Everyone!

My name is Jennifer and I live in New Hampshire. I am a high school math teacher with a summer project. I have always wanted to have chickens and have decided that my summer project would be to build a chicken coop in our backyard.

My husband and I have been married for a little over 10 years and we have 8 pets. We have a dog, Hogan, two cats, three birds, a rabbit, and a chinchilla.

I want egg laying chickens, I'm thinking about 6 to 8 of them. I love animals, and I love fresh eggs!

I have been perusing the coops pages to come up with a design that I think is do-able, but also fits my needs.

I look forward to getting lots of great advice from everyone on this website!

Good luck with your chickens! What breed are you going to get? I recommend sex links for laying hens. They are awesome.
