Hello from New Jersey.

I'm Kathy. We are new to the chicken world. A year and a half ago hurricane Irene blew a few chicken in our yard that ended up staying. We cleared out our shed and made them a safe happy place. During the day, they have about an acre to run around on.
This April we decided to add a few more and got 10 chicks from Jersey Chickens. Had a wonderful experience with them! We got 5 Polish Top Hats and 5 Americana. I don't know what took us so long to get chickens!
I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to everyone.
