I'd like to welcome you to BYC. Unfortunately I don't have any words of wisdom for the guinea/dog situation.
I keep my dogs kenneled because I know I can't trust them. My chickens aren't free ranging most of the time because I have close neighbors with hunting dogs. My chickens are only out when I'm out there with them.
Best of luck in figuring out what's the most important to you. Training terriers to leave birds alone is a mighty task.
