Hi everybody, I have 4hens right now. A friend gave my kids the chicks last Easter as a gift, at first I didn't know what to do with them, but after watching them grow in a bin in my house I knew I was keeping them. I bought a coop online and built a huge run in my yard, and now just about a year later, there doin great and me and my kids love them. I live a bout 20 miles from NYC, and needless to say, no one near me has chickens running around in there yard, so my nieghbors and there kids get a kick out of them also.
