(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Pretty much brand new. Had some as kids but mum dealt with all, we just looked at them! I really wanted to have some gardening companions, because I'm an extrovert and need friends :D
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
7 chicks 1 day-3 weeks old. So cute! maybe`one more late comer
(3) What breeds do you have?
Older ones are Barbu DÚccle bantams ( porcelain I think), and yonger are Salmon ( ?) Faverolle's.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Its going to be their gardening help and their cute personalities. Also the fact they were dinosaurs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening.. crafts of many types.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I work from home, just moved from a city to a rural town for 'lifestyle', so doing lots of backyard experimenting with the space, also keen to grow culinary mushrooms. Live with partner in the main house and mum is in the tiny home! Should be fun for a while!

Thanks so much! I definately will. In a few weeks I will be starting to figure out she's and he's, so that will be fun. I got the household to do a shweepstakes, icecream on the line! (its summer here ). But we will see.
