Got Started With My Chickens Because My Granson Wanted Baby Chicks We Went To Flea Mkt. And Bought 2 Chicks And 2 Baby Ducks After Hrs Building A Place For Them To Live I Was Addicted Went And Bought 4 Hens The Next Day . We Continued To Look On Craigs List And Found Some Free To A Good Home So Went And Picked Them Up To Add. To Our Coop .so I Now Have Reds Silkies And Several Others . Got My Granson Started In Kindergarden And His Teacher Had 6 Hens And A Rooster Which She Gave Me. I Now Have 27 Chickens And 7 Baby Chicks That Some One Gave Me I"m Now Getting Eggs. Just To Hear My Granson So Excited When We Find A Egg Is Worth All The Scratches From The Chicken Wire. I Got When Building The Coop.he Is 5years Old And Going To Be A Good Chicken Farmer He Checks The Chickens Everyday Before School And Cant Wait To See If There Are Eggs Wanting To Raise His Own Babies Too Already
