Hey everyone! My name is Shannon and I live in Newfoundland, Canada. For anyone who don’t know where that is, it’s an island on the East Coast of Canada 
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I’ve had my chickens for about 2 years now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 13 chickens outside now and 22 in the brooder
(3) What breeds do you have? Chicks are Plymouth Barred Rock, outside I have silkies, Americana, Rode island reds, barn yard mix.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Love their personalities lol and to be able to get fresh eggs daily for my family
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, growing my own food.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am a Mom of 3 amazing boys aged 4, 10, and 12. I also have 2 cats and a Pitbull who just adores the chickens.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
