Hello from NH

Hi All,
I've been checking into this site for a few weeks now leading up to my purchase of some spring chicks. Thought I would join "for real" and introduce myself. I've been reading and researching info. on chickens for quite some time and am now about ready to go out and get some!
I am located in NH and also looking for some reputable breeders. I have found some on CL but not sure if I should purchase from an ad on there.
I welcome any other NH folks to chime in (I'm also near the MA line and travel to RI quite frequently) on a good place to get a starter flock. I think I have narrowed my choices down to Buffs, RI Reds, NH Reds, and Aracaunas (I like the colored eggs).

Hah! Another Ohioan responding to my post. Hi back to you too! Up until almost a year ago, I worked in Cincinnati so I'm quite familiar and fond of Ohio. Should have gotten chickens when I lived back there instead of waiting until now.
