(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We have had chickens for 2 years now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? We have 6 right now.
(3) What breeds do you have? We have 2 Buff Cochins, a Salmon Faverolle, a Barred Rock, a Lavender Orpington and a Dominique.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? We love pets in general and chickens are pure entertainment, and the eggs are a perk too.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening and upcycling.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have a cat, a dog and 2 fancy goldfish as well.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I've known about this website for at least 5 years now and finally joined after having my own chickens and wanting to ask questions.
