Been on here a little while looking at info but now really want to use this site more often. I've been raising chickens and ducks for about a year now.we currently have ameraucanas, RIRs, silver lacedwyandottes, delaware and buff orpington.just had our first chicks hatch 2 weeks ago.needing some guidence however on breaking my hen staying broody

Put her in an elevated crate with wire floor - no bedding. The cool air flow under her usually dampens their motherly ideas. After a couple days put her back with the flock. If she attempts to go broody again in a nest box - but her back in the "broody buster" for a longer period. Some persistent ones need more attempts.

You may want to search for "broody breaking," and see if another ideas surface.
