I have 4 leghorn hens and they are beautiful, lay well and are not very unfriendly or flighty, though I heard they can be. I would definitely recommend them.

Welcome from Southern California, Nate! Oh, there's so much great info here. I'd recommend mixing it up but it's pretty much anything goes I think. I currently have six different breeds, thirteen hens total, so...just check out some of the forums and go for it!
