Hello from North Alabama and a Rooster Question

Been a lurker for a while and decided to start a profile. haha

Wondering if anyone could give me some advice on selecting a rooster breed to pair with the following hens: Americanas, Partridge Rocks, Jersey Black Giants, and Wyandottes. Maybe 1 rooster with all four or 2 roosters with 2 best breeds. Looking for good egg layers, good size (meat), and coloring (gotta have purtty chickens!).

I'm new to this type of chicken business. I grew up working a commercial breeder farm with ConAgra then Pilgrim's with four 450 ft. houses so this is a whole new gig. haha

Hello and Welcome To BYC! You might want to look at / post in some of the production thread, ie https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/845018/breeding-for-production-eggs-and-or-meat/960 If you are intending to sell hatching eggs / chicks, you may want to stick with roosters of whatever breeds gives you the most/best purebreds. I love the laced Wyandottes color wise and Americana are also nice in that they can give you Easter Eggers crossed on the other breeds.
