Hello from North Carolina

Hi Everyone!

my name is Tricia and I am a new chicken mama. I am a vet tech and I have worked with exotic birds and birds of prey during my career, but this is the first time I have had or worked with chickens. We have a small flock of 10 Easter Egger chicks that will be a month old on Monday.
I grew up with dogs and cats and I’ve had Dobermans for the last 12 years. I currently have one doberman, and his name is Bugsy. He has been great around my flock even with high prey drive. Raising the flock inside my house has definitely helped with that!

Thank you! They are truly wonderful dogs. I’ve been quite blessed. Lost my first boy, Dante, to cancer in January.

Thank you He was my heart dog. Did Search and Rescue with him as well as agility, rally and obedience. Bugsy is my free spirit lol. Thinking about chicken agility now lol

good luck with chicken agility. There was a thread quite some time ago on BYC and the woman had a short video of her hen doing chicken agility. She did the teeter tawter(spelling) the weave poles,, the long tube etc. She did them slowly but she did them correctly.
